FAVORITE DESTINATION:
San Juan, Puerto Rico. The city offers visitors American convenience coupled with the heady mix of Spanish language and Puerto Rican cuisine and culture.
HOT SPOTS:
“El Punto” or “The Point” is a fantastic area bursting with local eateries, bars, and cafes, all facing into cobblestone courtyards and lanes (located at the end of Calle Fortaleza). Also be sure to check out Bebo’s Café (located at the intersection of Calle Loiza and Del Parque) for good Puerto Rican food at very reasonable prices.
TRAVEL TIP:
Think about exploring the island’s beautiful rain forests, villages, and beaches outside of San Juan. A little Spanish goes a long way outside of the city, so learn a few key phrases and then put them to good use!
Book your flighT to San Juan at usairways.com. Complete vacation packages are available at usairwaysvacations.com.
